Lua Programmer – Roblox & Game Systems (AI Evaluation)

Whether you have built intricate game systems in Roblox Studio, shipped production-grade Lua in embedded engineering environments, or scripted custom logic across specialized game engines, this is a rare opportunity to apply your deep programmatic knowledge to the frontier of machine learning.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role designed for developers who know the nuances of Lua inside and out and want to make sure the next generation of AI coding tools actually gets Lua right.

What You’ll Do

• Evaluate AI Code Quality: Review and audit AI-generated Lua scripts for structural correctness, architectural efficiency, and adherence to clean coding paradigms.

• Diagnose Logic Errors: Systematically isolate performance bottlenecks, syntax slip-ups, memory leaks, and implementation gaps in automated code outputs.

• Deliver Technical Feedback: Author clear, highly structured, and technical written feedback detailing exactly how the AI can optimize its logic and execution.

• Execute Diverse Technical Tasks: Complete a varied queue of milestone-driven, task-based programming challenges with extreme technical precision.

• Enhance Algorithmic Reasoning: Directly train and guide machine learning systems to better understand context-specific Lua frameworks and multi-layered problem solving.

Who You Are

• Advanced Lua Developer: Possess deep, hands-on proficiency writing, testing, and debugging clean Lua scripts.

• Roblox Ecosystem Fluent: Hold verifiable experience building or scripting assets within Roblox Studio or across the broader Roblox ecosystem.

• Guidelines-Driven: Highly detail-oriented with a proven ability to strictly interpret and implement structured technical evaluation criteria.

• Precise Technical Communicator: Confident and articulate when writing technical explanations and break-fixes in English.

• Asynchronous Performer: Self-motivated, dependable, and entirely comfortable pacing your own workload in an independent sandbox environment.

• A professional background in game development, interactive media, or procedural graphics.

• Prior experience reviewing code repositories, auditing open-source files, or mentoring junior developers.
