Where experts get paid to train AI
About the Role
What if your years of building DCF models, running comps, and dissecting corporate financial statements could directly shape how AI handles finance for millions of users worldwide?
Alignerr is looking for experienced Financial Analysts and Model Reviewers to audit and refine AI-generated financial modeling tasks. In this role, you will serve as the subject matter expert in the room—ensuring that advanced artificial intelligence systems get the numbers, the underlying methodologies, and the logical reasoning exactly right.
If you have spent time in investment banking, equity research, corporate finance, or FP&A, this is your opportunity to leverage your hard-earned expertise in a completely new, high-impact domain. No prior AI or technology background is required.

Audit Financial Outputs: Review AI-generated financial analyses, valuation models, and narrative explanations for flawless technical accuracy and methodological soundness.
-
Validate Core Frameworks: Evaluate whether AI engines correctly apply industry-standard financial frameworks, mathematical formulas, and technical terminology.
-
Refine Evaluation Rubrics: Audit training instructions and scoring rubrics to ensure they accurately and rigorously test real-world corporate finance concepts.
-

-
Provide Expert Feedback: Deliver highly structured, clear feedback that details exactly what is wrong, why it is incorrect, and how to fix it.
-
Asynchronous Milestones: Work entirely independently and asynchronously, completing task-based milestones on a schedule that fits your life.
Who You Are
-
Seasoned Finance Practitioner: Possess deep, hands-on experience in investment banking, equity research, corporate finance, FP&A, or a closely related institutional field.
-
Master of US Finance Terminology: Hold a ironclad command of core concepts, including DCF, WACC, comparable company analysis, precedent transactions, three-statement modeling, and LBO fundamentals.
-
Error-Spotting Instincts: Naturally detail-oriented with the ability to quickly scan a financial model or analytical summary and flag subtle methodology errors.
-
Precise Communicator: A strong written communicator who can clearly articulate complex financial ideas and explain logical fallacies to non-finance teams.
-
Analytical Standards: Driven by high standards of analytical rigor, data integrity, and professional formatting.
Nice to Have (Bonus Points)
-
Professional credentials such as a CFA, CPA, or MBA (Finance).
